Description   The grinning clown face featured on the shirt is known as "Tillie": The name Tillie is a nod to George C. Tilyou, the owner of Steeplechase Park in Coney Island, NY. A similar grinning face was featured on Steeplechase Park signage;  While visiting the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893, he saw the Ferris wheel and decided to build his own on Coney Island; it immediately became the resorts biggest attraction. He added other rides and attractions, including a mechanical horse race course from which the park derived its name. Features This is one of the softest shirts that we carry.  The sleeves, collar and bottom purposely have very minor tears to finish off the slight vintage look and feel. This is a UNISEX cut T Shirt;  It runs a little small for men & a little large for women.  (i.e. If purchasing this for a guy who normally wears a Large...get an XL)
