This image was inspired by an old ticket stub to Steeplechase Park in Coney Island, NY.
The grinning clown face featured on the shirt is known as "Tillie": The
name Tillie is a nod to George C. Tilyou, the owner of the park. A
similar grinning face was featured on the parks signage. It
immediately became the resorts biggest attraction.
